These are a variety of useful tools to make 2D or 3D geometry formats compatible for direct import to Nextspace. Note: If your existing geometry has attribute data that you wish to keep, then we recommend using the IFC importer. When just geometry and material import is required, GLTF/GLB is the favored format. (Data can be retrospectively added in Nextspace.) Other options exist for direct import. For a complete description see Link
Blender (free)
Blender is a free and open-source 3D computer graphics software tool set used for creating animated films, visual effects, art, 3D-printed models, motion graphics, interactive 3D applications, virtual reality, and, formerly, video games. Link
pCon.planner (free)
An excellent tool for reading from a variety of formats to GLB and FBX. It also has great tools for materials editing and modelling. Link
gLTF Editor (free)
A useful web-based tool for the translation of formats to GLTF and GLB as well as validation and materials editing. Link
QGIS (free)
A comprehensive toolbox for the import and creation of GIS content. This tool enables almost any type of known GIS and many CAD formats to be combined, reprocessed and re-exported as compatible GeoJSON or KML files to Nextspace. Link
SketchUp Standard and Pro (free and paid options)
A great modelling tool with import and export to a variety of formats gLTF/GLB, DWG and IFC. Link
SAP Visual Enterprise (trial and then a paid subscription)
An excellent tool for data translation and initial data preparation. Plugins to export directly to the Nextspace BRZ format are available. (Contact support@nextspace.com). For a complete list of supported formats see. Link
